Actually retired 6 years ago - then bought another practice and hired an orthodontist to do the work, didn't work out well, so now taking over, working just 1 or 2 days a week, still enjoying patient contact.
But so much more in digital entry, technology etc.

Peter Jackson and I challenging each other in our old Ford cars; we decided to cross Putah Creek, spin around, then come back across and back up the levee. His '48 V8 did nicely, great spinning around - my derelict '49 flathead 6 made it across, good spins, but clutch gave out on the way back at the deepest part of the creek!
That is NOT" the rest of the story!" Peter and I jobbed ethyl alcohol from organic chem lab, and managed to consume it just before a dinner time. I was usually pretty quiet ( except for piano playing)...came bursting in late and explaining to King John Hardie (bless his memory) that 'everything was under control'!!! It wasn't.
