I noticed that your profile is right up to date, Mike.(2012) I guess nothing has happened in your life this last decade to be worthy of an update. (hint) Anyway....Happy birthday my friend.

Happy birthday Bob. I must say, that you look a tad bit thinner going over the high hurdles than more recent photos! It must be the "good life" or maybe 81 years has something to do with it. Keep em commin.'

Another B-day is flying by and I think of you often. I had to take a rest for a few weeks as I had another "heart episode" The doctor prescribed ....no wine, no walnuts and no whiskey! I guess I have to finally get serious about life style changes if I want to share some old TX songs around the table again! Best wishes to you my friend.

Well Mike, the "jump shot days" have long since left me in the dust. Today, I must be content to relax by the fire and enjoy a nice glass of good wine. I am wishing you a memorable birthday with more to come my friend.

Hey Warren... Looking back on previous posts, I do remember that ride to UCLA .Some good memories, some not so good. Paula Swanson, the girl I was pinned to at the time, who could not go to All Cal Weekend with me, turned up to be sitting behind us at the game with a new boyfriend. So much for true love! It must have been another trip to UCLA that we were washed off HWY 15 by a flash flood! Was that in Charleson' VW? Anyway, Happy Birthday and I am super glad you are healthy and able to enjoy your life to the fullest. Parry

+Jerry was a quiet sole with a smoothe voice and a sweet jump shot. I loved to play against him and listen to him sing and play. Jerry provided us all with wonderful memories. As I write this note of rememberance, Silent Night is playing in the background which reminds me of the Christmas carols we sang together. "I go now to prepare a room for you in my Father's house"........rest in peace now Jerry

Happy birthday my friend and many more. I was scrolling through the site and suddenly realized that as each year slips by there are fewer and fewer brothers to communicate with. After 60 years or so, I thought I would at least say hello. We now live in crazy times that I could not have imagined back in the day. Last night I went to church and prayed for the families in the Texas church that were so devastated. We need God in our lives more than ever! Take care....I think of our fellow pledges often and the good times.
