School Story:

I enjoyed coming to Davis so thoroughly in the Fall of 1950 that I soon became active in many school activities. I recall especially writing for the Cal Aggie as a reporter; also came to enjoy playing pool in the North Hall dorm. It all caught up with me as my grades at the end of the year placed me on probation. Well, pledging Thea Xi turned out to be my salvation, as I finally learned some good study habits that resulted in being off of probation the following year and going on to better schooling (along with good times) after that experience. It is just another reason why I am grateful to TX.
