Reunion Banquet
On Saturday night, over 55 brothers convened at the Odd Fellows Hall in Davis to celebrate the first 17 years of Beta Epsilon. Our guest of honor was Lorena Herrig, looking marvelous, as always!
After a buffet including beef, chicken and salmon, the program included group singing led by co-host Matt Zwerling (BE 193), a review of the lunch activities by Bob Testa (BE 161) and a raffle of two Four Seasons gift certificates (won by Lawrence Sambado - BE 111 - and Walt Prowell - BE 250) and a third offering by Rich Untermann (BE 160) at his The Spanish Garden hotel in Santa Barbara (won by John Bohn - BE 189). The winning tickets were first tossed by Torsten Jacobsen (BE 175) and selected by Lorena.
Pictures were taken with Lorena for each pledge class in attendance, as well as the great panoramic shot of the whole group taken by Ken Pimentel (BE 237). Next, a 34-minute video titled "Beta Epsilon - What Made Us Great" was screened. A link to the video is contained on the Home Page.
Finally, everyone gathered in an enormous circle, crossing arms and clasping hands and singing Amici.
Truly, an night to remember.
